Title: If it ain't broke

Notes: I'm alive! And writing for elanielyn i swear. I've been sort of busy writing elsewhere, and also I'm preparing a massive translation for publication (my translation of the entirety of Midaregami, by Yosano Akiko, actually! My thesis work!) and you know, that's real life, but just in case you were wondering, I am totally alive. And he's a tiny thing to tide you guys over until I finish the two things I'm working on. :) Lastly, I can't believe I have a Shiryota tag. What has this world come to?

 

 

If there is a better way to wake up, Yuu thinks, than with your cock in someone’s mouth, he would really like to know what it is.

 

Ryo is a total diva, and even on the best days he has a sharp elbow and an even sharper tongue, but Yuu thinks of it as a challenge, and when his morning wood is hitting the back of Ryo’s throat, stifling the venom at it’s source, he thinks it might be worth it to deal with Ryo’s temper tantrums.

 

Ryo always protests, like a virginal girl, when Yuu shoves him into the restroom at a nightclub, or over a park bench at 4 AM. (They’d almost been arrested, that time, and Ryo hadn’t answered his calls for a week and a half.) But after a few kisses and a hand down the front of his pants, Ryo can always be counted on to writhe like a whore in his arms as Yuu fucks him over and over again.

 

Sometimes, when Ryo is curled up against him, warm against his side in the night and making tiny cooing noises in his sleep, Yuu thinks he might like to date Ryo, but for now, tracking him down and making him submit is way more fun. The way Ryo’s acerbic tongue says “No, you fucking ugly horse-face,” but his body is saying ‘yes, YES,’ as Yuu licks a trail down his chest straight to his awakening erection, the way he hisses angrily even as he grinds up against Yuu, seeking more friction as Yuu’s hands explore the soft and dewy expanse of Ryo’s pale skin, and most importantly, the way Ryo whimpers when Yuu is sliding deep inside him, hitting his prostrate on every thrust while Ryo melts underneath him, unable to contain his loud moans. Knowing Ryo is groaning and grunting almost against his will, but not really, because he’s always been easy for Yuu to convince. Yuu really likes that. He feels like a relationship, if he could even convince Ryo ("What the fuck is wrong with you?"), might get in the way of that feeling of conquest.

 

Plus, morning after blowjobs don’t feel nearly so good under the shackles of commitment, and Yuu has always believed that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Yuu's POV is as crude as I thought it would be, but when I really think about it I can't really picture him and Ryo being the sweet couple that are completely monogamous. I really makes more sense like this.
Though I wouldn't protest to them actually dating. They can play cat and mouse just as well dating as they can not dating.

Its easy to picture that Ryo would be like this with Shirota, all vicious, spitting fire and acid and Yuu would find it amusing and as a challenge.

I love the many different ways you write Ryo. Its strange how different Ryo can be but still feel true to his "character". The boy and the massive gap between the extremes of his personalities XD. I love the flaily/awkward/shy Ryo you write him as with your Ryoshige Ryoda fics, but this dickish diva bitch Ryo you have him as in your Pin fics is really fun to read too. The way you make Ryo's life kind of hard when he's "offended by everything" is cute too. I believe Ryo's poison tongue and abrassiveness is more or a defensive mechanism or foot-in-mouth syndrome him being purposely being an insensitive jerk (sorry maybe I'm channeling a bit of annoyance at the Ryo in "Roll with the punches"). hehe, I guess the Akanishi Troops is a bad influence for Ryo, like feels extra defensive with them. I somehow picture him being more mellow when its just him and Yamapi, even softer when he's with the Kanjani guys or even News, like he's less prickly when he doesnt feel threatened.

Sorry, this comment might be a bit out of place here, I'm slowly making my way through your archive of fics and I'm referring to your other stories too. I guess I'm too fixated with my bias, even when I'm reading your Pin or Akame fics I always pay attention to whenever Ryo is mentioned (p[lus you give Ryo some of the greatest lines^^).

the affection I have for Ryo is probably, at this point, very clear, haha. I ADORE him. I think he has this fantastic multifaceted personality that makes him simultaneously brass and shy, and it makes him so INTERESTING to write. I mean, I think Ryo is bumbling and silly and hopeless, but I also hink he must be a fabulous friend-- sharptongued and a little mean, and saying what needs to be said!!

And yes! Even in my Pin and Akame, I let my Ryo-love shine through <3
