Notes: Akame basically trolls me when I least expect it. I've written this for myself, because deadlines and all of that sort of creep up on me, and I won't have time to write something just for myself for a while.

It’s been a long time since they’ve sung together, but it’s easy and effortless, like Jin is muscle and Kame is bone, Jin’s voice twining around Kame’s to build something greater than them both.

Your 34k made my heart wibble and hurt and race and overflow with warmth and joy, and i feel like i've been on a long journey, somehow. i love akame so much in fic, and you drew a beautiful story from them that felt like a spell being woven slowly and through time. How you start with the moon myth, keep intertwining it with the story and writing it into the story, and ending it on that note - i love how you did that, how you made Kame the moon even when he was this scrawny kid staring up at the stars, and Jin loving him forever without having a proper word for all these feelings, and the way it starts in l.a. with all those bits of Jin's daily life, and then the change after Kame arrived, and Jin has feelings,and. it all feels so real, like it's happening right before my eyes.

i had a wordpad open when i started reading, but i forgot about it like two minutes in. just know that there wasn't a bit that i didn't flail or cry over, that wasn't amazing.

i'll feel ridiculous for saying this.. but.. okay:

And commenting feels really difficult when i love something as much as i did this. MY LOVE, YOU HAVE IT.

For some reason, I think Jin is such an interesting person-- so brave at times, but always hiding his true self away at the same time and it's all ASDFGHJKL and fabulous and stuff. <3

Okay so I stayed up last night much much later than I should have because of this fic and now it's 7 AM and I have to get ready for work, BUT, worth it. Every single second of it. I don't know how you do it but once I start one of your fics I can't stop reading it, unless it's because it's so good and it makes me ~feel~ too much. Then I go get tea or something and then dive right back in because just jkfdnhkjrthkaerutoa. You always write the most beautiful fics.

This fic had everything, I laughed, I cried <3 I really loved the idea of Kame just hanging out with Jin in LA, it was so much fun to picture everything. My heart hurt so much for both of them and just dklajfjkgkj.

I almost dropped this one after Kame left back to Japan since I'm not in a mood to stand sad endings right now. However, I didn't and it was well worth it <3 I had high expectations for this one after Across A Bridge Of Magpies and you met them, in the most beautiful, poetic and breath-taking way. Thank you for this <3 (And SHIT, it's almost 10 p.m. and I've got a pile of schoolwork to do for tomorrow. Being a busy student coming across fics as captivating as this can be very dangerous :) But I don't regret reading this, not at all!)
