[Art Post] Yamapi (1) and Pin (1)

maayacolabackupThis is what you're getting yourself into if you're up to doing PinBang and you get me as an artist. I'm practicing now so that you get something awesome when I get around to the real one.
I'm doing water-colors or oil paintings for whatever fic(s) I get, depending on how many I have to do.
These are some practice sketches, just to get a feeling for these boys, as I've never drawn them before! Actually it's been a long time since I drew things that weren't Disney characters haha.

elanielyn sent me in sekrit this morning, and I want her to keep goingggggggg. Here's some cheerleading!!! Thinking about his sister...
The second one is fromryogrande 's epic epic epic Pin fic (actually, I didn't realize until later, but it was the first Pin fic I ever read, and it made me go MOAR) When Rivalry Blossoms, which you've probably read. Ri gave me permission to draw from any of her fics I wanted. This is also just a quickie, done with a mechanical pencil and black crayola marker, but I actually ended up really liking it for a sketch. It's monsoon season here, haha. I'll probably clean this up and color-ink it, actually, or watercolor it in a blue-wash.

The first time Yamaguchi and Satou kiss, it’s in the rain under a shared umbrella and it takes several takes from Kimura and Harito to get it right...Jin thinks he’s an expert on the shape and texture of Yamapi’s lips by the time they finally finish the scene. Especially since he was concentrating so hard on them that he forgot his next line.
