This is such a gorgeous story. I love the pacing, the words, the characterization--everything! Dear, I absolutely ADORE this piece of work. It just feels so real. I absolutely love the way you describe Kai--his fidgeting, his changes from Asia's sex symbol to simple and cute Jongin. And the way everything was placed--I felt like I was Yixing, or what it felt like in his mind. I read it as though I was slowly soaking everything in and OMG my arms are shaking because it was just SO good!
My absolute favorite would have to be when he was developing negatives (?) with his grandmother and she said, "You are so in love". I couldn't help but tear up because all that anticipation between Yixing and Jongin and I felt like it was simple culmination of all the feelings that Yixing had for Jongin and I just--it just felt so real.
