Gah~ Not even done reading and I just got a random wave of nostalgia when I read the part about them going to the great wall. I can't remember what part I went to (I was really young when we went :/ but I know it was one of the less popular parts to go to and that it was steeper, so maybe it was this one?) but I just remember that my mom, my aunt, my sister, and I were pretty much the only people there (except for two women trying to sell us a bunch of random things) and they had to turn the cable car on especially for us because there wasn't anyone else around. It was awesome.
I really want to go back to Beijing and see how things have changed since I was there.
Okay, sorry that was completely random and had nothing to do with this fic but I just really wanted to say that because I've become an increasingly nostalgic being in my young age XD
