I think I know who you mean, but I can't be bothered to look them up either XD. I like Shinwa because it's like going back in time to when pop music was less intense! Like, you listen to a Shinwa song and the verses are relaxed, and then it explodes on the chorus.. you listen to a U-Kiss song and the only time you get a break is like, during the 10 second dubstep/dance break. XD. So I guess I am a Shinwa fan now.
Yeah, I'm a reverse... although, funny story, my ex was a big fan? Or actually, she was more of a casual fan, but her younger brother was a HUGE Big Bang and especially Taeyang fan... he got the same haircut and everything, he basically wanted to *be* Taeyang. They had a close and somewhat dysfunctional relationship... She'd play these BB videos for me, but they were in their Over Dramatic Boyband phase at the time (or so I thought - actually they were in their Sad Electro Pulsing Beat phase but I didn't know that) so I wasn't interested. XD;; I got pulled in later through 2NE1, Tonight (the single, not the rock album), and the GD&TOP record because that's closer to the kind of music I like. Tonight especially is one of those singles where you hear it and you immediately sense a backstory and want to know more.
Obsession is so good! Kinda reminds me of Epik High's Fan, which is another song about obsession I love (the video especially).
Ha, yes....
I guess I see Big Bang as being a bit codependent... and that can be a good thing, because it allows each member to fill in for the weaknesses of the others, but it can also be a bad thing, because it prevents each person from developing a full set of individual skills... well, this might be my Western bias speaking, lol (independence! self-sufficiency! relying on others is unhealthy!). But I do also think that when the relationship is troubled it's important to be able to spend time apart, too. You can almost enjoy the time you're together more, that way.

Or in other words, I agree with you here! XD.
