Peri (bellmelody) really inspired me-- her fic was adorable, and reminded me that even though I make a living thinking about samurai, I'd never even touched upon the subject.
I think it's not much of a stretch to image Kame as a method actor-- he gives 110 percent to everything, and I think that's one of the things his fans love about him the most-- how even when he is tired and exhausted and thoroughly done, he always has more to give. He's amazing <3
I always try to make characters like real people-- imperfect in so many ways, but still worth loving, right? Still impossible not to love, really.
I'm not going to lie, the hallway scene was my absolute favorite to write!!!
