Mwahahaha see the magic of Pin~~ their bffery and intuitive understanding of each other is what makes them so shippable! It's the main draw of the pairing.
Not that I don't appreciate the complicated interactions of Akame. They are bitter/ sweet and complicated. Which is also awesome. But Pin is wonderful to me because of how easy it is for them to understand each other, to know everything about each other and yet still find something new, something undiscovered, that draws them to each other despite knowing each other's every flaw. Idk. I can't explain it well, I guess, but I love that Pin can say everything with a touch-- a gentle hand on the shoulder means I love you, and a smile pressed into the crook of a neck means I'll never leave. It's so...arg. Anyway.
I'm glad you felt bad for Rina! Because sometimes life isn't perfect, and people make mistakes and sometimes they cost. I think Rina, in this story, is too immature for a baby, tbh, and sort of selfish. But she's just a person, and the end is sort of open-ended redemption or something.
