In a lot of ways, I think it's still gen? Friendship handjobs, serving as an outlet for Jiyong's internalized angst? I mean, granted, gen handjobs sounds funny, but yes, still. I think Daesung's religion is such a key focal point in his life, but not in the way that it hinders him or serves as a restrictor for his actions. More in the way that it provides him a stability that isn't present elsewhere in his life.
