i don't think i could have written a story where they didn't eventually have a choice. it's not really something i have an interest in pursuing, at all, but when i got assigned soul-bonding for a little game my friends and i are playing, i ultimately decided o see if i could stretch the trope-- to see if i could make it a story about people being forced to regard each other without excuses first and then maybe they'd fall in love. and then by taking the soul bond away, i removed the excuse of it, and they had to think about their feelings for real. :) i'm glad you got that, as it was the most important part of the story, for me! :D :D
as for making this fic in another language... i don't really like my work to be translated. i really do like them to stand as English stories, because word choice and etc is so important to me, and because... well, i'm a translator, professionally, and i know what goes into that, and how much is lost in it, and i'd rather just have the stories stay only in English. <3
