my. mind. has.been . blown. AMAZING (wait does this mean kaiyeol no longer has the 'side effects' of the soul bond? issit permanent? Doesn't matter anyway, since they're in love)
I LOVE HOW UNIQUE THIS IS. Sure, the soul bond is a concept that has been repeated a few times, but the way you wrote it made it shape into something UTTERLY amazing and my heart was in my throat the whole time I was reading this. There were so many parts I adored about these four chapters. Chanyeol's characterizations, in how he always tried to smile even if he didn't feel like that on the inside. In how he helplessly fell in love with Jongin - the way he described that it was just ordinary, simple heart break (after the shot) - that broke my heart too. It was perfectly ache-y And Jongin trying to pull away, but can't seem to. Chanyeol feeling when he got jealous (stomach lurching) over him and Baekhyun. The intensity of their affections. Everything, really. -i need to stop for a moment to breathe. wow. just simply, wow- also, Wu Fan: "Wu Fan pretends to be cool, but he actually uses more emoticons than anyone, and Chanyeol always uses just as many in his reply mails to make fun of his friend." LOLOL. I can actually imagine that - it's so comical. It was actually unexpected - the soul bonding business, especially when appears to be non-AU at first (even though you told us it wasn't, not really) buuuuut it mish-mashes reality with this kind of fantasy perfectly
