Can I just start off by saying I DON'T EVEN THINK I LIKE KAIYEOL but somehow, as you always do, it's not about the pairing or the reader's preference, it's about the characters, the world you've built them, and the situations they find themselves in. I. This is just. I'm sorry but there were a few lines here that broke me-- when Chanyeol asked Wu Fan why he couldn't have been bonded to him and when Jongin said, "All you want is for me to look at you." It's just that. I don't know, I feel like we've all had those relationships where we think WHY COULDN'T I LIKE _____ INSTEAD THAT'D BE SO MUCH EASIER and ;__; I don't know, does this make sense? I'm trying to get better at commenting because I think I'm terrible at it. I'm going to be completely honest and reiterate I didn't think it'd be actual soul bonding, but I'm more than pleasantly surprised because this just worked in so many different ways ;_________________________; Life isn't about finding your opposite, but your complement I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING RN I AM NOT IN A GOOD PLACE. Somehow I hurt and I don't even know why, especially when past Jongin kept pointing out all the things he hated about Chanyeol.
