asdfghgf hi! as you probably guessed, i am also a dancer :D. When I found out Jongin used to do ballet, I had this niggling sense that I wanted to write about ballet, but I wasn't sure how. But then I had this idea, and it ate me.
I wanted to use Fact to provide an anchor in the non-linear story-telling. Often, it can be confusing to read things with no actual time markings, but I thought the best way to tell this WEIRD story was this way :)
And yay! I'm glad the intimacy worked-- I wanted to use it to describe the difference between Kai and Jongin! In as many ways as possible.
The steps... I was worried it would read as mindless jargon but people write from what they know, right? When I see things, I see them as a dancer, so I tried to include markings that would help non-dancers try and get into it but idk how successful I was. (Rite of Spring is mt favorite, too-- so short, so powerful!)
And aahhhhhhh you noticed the progression of steps you are so cool <3
