I LOVED LOVED LOVED this fic. it was beautiful and perfect.
not sure where to begin. I don't know if I've ever read better characterization...certainly no better example is occurring to me. every character was fleshed out, real, and loveable, and so was every scene and situation. the dialogue, the dynamics of baekyeol's relationship. everything felt so real. and effortlessly funny. and tenderly sweet. and perfectly paced.
as someone else has commented, "i am completely in love with your baekhyun." he's already my exo-k bias, but your baekhyun was so perfect and so patient, i'm totally crushing on this fictional character. chanyeol was a close second for my favorite character. everything i want to say has already been said by others in better words than i could produce so i won't try to go on.
about the impeccable pacing of this fic...I generally avoid long fics because I don't have a lot of time and I am also an impatient person, even more so an impatient reader, so the fact that I read this fic in one sitting without even noticing the time passing...it was so wonderfully strange. it was like the title of your fic but more like "make the better part of a day feel like a minute ". I keep seeing people mentioning the 30k length of this fic in the comments and I just thought to myself "It was 30k? o.O" Didn't even notice...but when I think about it I guess my pleasure-induced haze while reading this fic did seem to last for a blissfully long time....definitely several dream-like hours of being immersed in channie's world.
