Things that made me happy/laugh: all the scenes of Kame and Jin sharing a bed, with Kame curling up around Jin, Jin clinging to Kame, Jin on Kame's couch, now, just there when Kame wakes up in a hurry for rehearsal; how many people showed up in this story, Kame's relationships with his family, with KAT-TUN (esp. Koki), with Ryo, with Uchi, with Meisa (I now have thoughts about Nakamaru/Meisa, order important, which are all your fault); ALSO Seahorsing!.
ALSO things that killed me: when I realised that of course Ran and Jelly would have gone to doggie heaven by this point; when I realised that there was going to be collision of Kame and Jin's ability to deal with an idol's career; THAT SCENE IN CHAPTER 4 MAIA I REALLY DONT USUALLY CRY LIKE THAT; the way Jin's realistic enough to predict how things will fall out but not cynical, not without hope; Kame wanting to help with Jin's depression but so helpless; the way Kame's gotten into the habit of some very strange things, the boundaries he has set himself to be a good idol, the rules that come to naturally to his mind, even when they come from women's magazines he read when he was 14 and he's now closer to 40.
I'll put their three kisses in both categories. Oh, god, their happy/relieved banter in the third kiss was so cathartic, I could let myself believe they would be happy, have more good days than bad days, and that was better right then than the sex scene I'd expected to read. They're so them in this. I want them to be happy so much.
I'm writing this from memory, having listened to the FST for this (plus Kizuna, Harukana Yakusoku and Sun Burns Down) on repeat for the last 6 hours. Still have so many feelings, but more manageable feelings. #ALLTHEFEELINGS
