Things would have been easier for Jin if he'd figured out ways to tell Kame earlier, but then maybe they wouldn't have, right? No matter what, things would still have been the same, a long, slow drowning. This is a confession, of sorts, but the type with no resolution. Neither Jin or Kame can think of ways to get what they want, because Jin can't pretend and Kame can't give everything up. There was point when I wondered if the story would end like this, a secret kiss that they have to pretend never happened and a lifetime of desires they can't act on. Jin's also got other problems-- phobias and depression and a general discomfort in his own skin, that being in love with his...whatever Kame is, probably isn't helping.

AND ASDFGHHLJH I was really depressed writing a lot of parts four and five and I had to give myself a present afterwards. #hugs #hugs It makes me super excited that all this comes through, by the way!! SO EXCITED.
